Vapex Announces New O-MEGA Model v2500
After extensive Beta testing, Vapex this week announced the release of its latest product; the O-MEGA v2500. Building on the success of our existing hydroxyl ion odor control devices, the v-2500 will be able to take on even larger pump stations, and/or higher hydrogen sulfide (H2S) levels. Miami Dade Chooses Vapex Over Other Odor Control Solutions
In late summer, Vapex participated in an engineering study commissioned by Miami-Dade County of several odor control solutions for an offensive lift station. The following is a statement from the city following their choice of Vapex's O-MEGA unit:
Faced with a pump station causing odor complaints at the Village of Key Biscayne, Florida, the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) evaluated several odor control technologies in an effort to ameliorate the hydrogen sulfide odors at this location. After pilot testing a couple of odor control solutions, WASD selected the O-MEGA v800 for this installation because the hydroxyl ion fogging system was the one technology that most effectively removed the hydrogen sulfide, and satisfied the concerns of the immediate neighborhood.

The article, "Hydroxyl Ion Foggers Solve odor Problems" describes how O-MEGA systems are solving odor control problems at various locations throughout Chandler, Arizona and are now part of the city's design specifications for new lift stations.
Nagging odor complaints? Remaining 2009 budget money?
Purchasing an O-MEGA "plug-and-play" odor control system can solve both problems.
